Chelsea Betcher represents the interest of management in all areas of labor and employment law. Chelsea’s practice includes defending clients against employment discrimination claims brought under Federal and State law, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Missouri Human Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, among others. She is involved in litigating discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims as well as investigating and responding on behalf of management to employee claims before administrative agencies.
Chelsea also advises clients on employment contracts and handbooks, restrictive covenants, day-to-day human resources issues, and many other employment-related matters.
Chelsea graduated from Saint Louis University School of Law. While completing her legal education, Chelsea served as President of the Employment Law Association and was a member of the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law. She also spent a semester during law school externing for Magistrate Judge Gilbert C. Sison in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Illinois.
