Richard Ross devotes his practice to the exclusive representation of employers in all areas of employment law, and has over 25 years of experience as an in-house corporate counsel. He has extensive experience with both national and international employment law matters, business ethics and compliance issues, and is a recognized leader in the area of employment Alternative Dispute Resolution programs. Prior to his retirement as Senior Associate General Counsel for Anheuser-Busch, he headed the Company’s Employment Law group. He and his staff were responsible for providing daily guidance and employee training to the company’s human resource professionals. He routinely worked with company executives providing legal counsel on all areas of employment law and business ethics matters including the Missouri Human Rights Act, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Sarbanes Oxley Act. He also worked closely with the company’s senior executives on sensitive matters including internal investigations and executive separation agreements.
Rick was an early champion for the use Alternative Dispute Resolution programs to resolve employment disputes, and was responsible for drafting and implementing the ADR program for Anheuser-Busch. He has written and spoken extensively on the subject of employment ADR programs.
