Nicholas Sikes represents the interests of management in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including litigation before state and federal courts, administrative agency proceedings, arbitration, and day-to-day client counseling. Nick’s practice focuses on defending employers against claims involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and workplace policy enforcement, as well as advising employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Nick regularly assists employers in responding to charges and investigations before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Missouri Commission on Human Rights, and the National Labor Relations Board. He is actively involved in labor-management matters, including grievance handling, arbitration proceedings, and collective bargaining-related disputes. In addition, Nick counsels employers on employment agreements, employee handbooks, disciplinary decisions, leave and accommodation issues, and other human resources concerns that arise in the ordinary course of business.
