McMahon Berger is proud to be a part of Missouri HR Day of Service

The Missouri HR Day of Service, which is sponsored by the Human Resources Management Association (“HRMA”) and National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (“NAAAHR”), will take place in conjunction with MO HR Professional’s Day on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the United Way’s office in downtown St. Louis.  John Marino of McMahon Berger is the Past President and Dean Kpere-Daibo is the Vice President of Administration of the HRMA.  This will be an excellent opportunity to give back to our community.

The HR Day of Service is targeted to the executive directors, human resources leaders, and other decision-making staff of local non-profit organizations.  The HRMA is partnering with the NAAAHR and the United Way for this event to unite as professionals and give back to the community.

During the first morning session, Rex Fennessey of McMahon Berger will make a presentation on “Sex Harassment Investigations for the One Person HR Department.” During the second morning session, Dean Kpere-Daibo of McMahon Berger will moderate a panel discussion that will cover methods on “Retaining and Protecting Employees in a New Era.” A portion of the HR Day of Service will also be dedicated to HR volunteers providing help to St. Louis residents through resume review, practice interviews, and other advice related to increasing the chance of securing a job.
